The game "Simon the Sorcerer and the whole magic door" (abbreviated:
"StS-Twmd") is a fanadventure, designed, developed and produced by german
fans. It is not an official sequel, thus story, texts and content of the
game were entirely made up in our minds and have nothing to do with
Headfirst (AdventuerSoft).
The team that develops StS-Twmd goes by the name of "Callisto Adventures".
Though we are a high-quality enterprise, there will be only this one game
for us (doesn't have to be more than that anyway).
Our leading examples for the game naturally are the classics "Simon1+2", so
we will do our very best to capture their charme and humour, and in a way
resurrect the original style, as "Simon3D" was not much of a great
successor.
On the whole, we are taking a hell of pains to make anything at all out of
it. *cough*
Now comes a short summary of the game's most important parts. For some
questions e.g. concering the release or any other stuff not answered here,
you will have to check the german page (that's because some things
continuously change and we are too lazy to update all pages each time [but
at least we admit that!]).
The Story:
Simon's tragic biography starts a couple of years ago in his own room.
Sordid and his accomplice Runt allure him into a strange, foreign
dimension. There, sinister Sordid intended to torture and pester him for a
while, but some luck and a good deal of accident help Simon to escape from
the two malevolent wizards. Unfortunately, his wardrobe (being his only way
back home!) needs a special propellant to teleport him back into his own
dimension, so Simon is getting footsored again. On his way through four
countries he stumbles from one propellantseeking adventure to the next,
always hoping that he will finally make it home. But it didn't work out as
expected! Sordid and Runt hatched a plot which embraced pure evil...
Once again Simon has ended up in the foreign dimension, or to be exact: he
is still there. His first thought naturally is: "What is the fastest way
out of here?". But what would a Semi-would-be-wizard be without a good deal
of bad luck? A single-phase adventure? Right, because this time, all the
dimension's magic is disabled, so nothing works anymore - neither
teleporters nor rejuvenation spells. Simon's hair-raising quest is to find
and fix the Magic Core (don't forget the spanner!).
So for Simon it is on the road again, and heading for glory and item he
traverses once more this wonderful part of the dimension.
During his odyssey he comes across Swampy and his disgusting-burger-restaurant, and even helps him to preserve his land and
property. And not only that, but Simon will also have to deal with a heroic
pilot and help a loser with his homework.
His last voyage leads him to the Dark Side of magic. In a rotten wasteland
he has to continue his quest and prevail over boozers, brawlers and warty
witches. Not quite an easy task for a baby wizard of the Low Grade (the
"Down-grade"). In any case, his journey ends here and Simon must prove he
is a true sorcerer, for the game with Magic is not easy! This is his last
time in this dimension before he can make the first step towards home...
